September 11 Happenings at the Lewistown Public Library
Library Board Meeting
The Board of Trustees of the Lewistown Public Library will meet Thursday, September 12 at 2:00 p.m. in the upstairs meeting room. The public is welcome.
Of Mice and Men and Rock N Roll -- A Play by Jay Kettering
In this 50-minute comedy, a young John Steinbeck, on his way to becoming a great writer, sits in the driver's seat next to his faithful dog, Charley. He has picked up a teenage hitchhiker with the heart and soul of a rock 'n' roller, and together, they will travel across America, navigating their way through space and time. Hang on—it's gonna be a bumpy ride. The road they're on blurs into dimensions that make it hard to tell whether they're meeting or becoming George and Lennie, the ranch hands with a dream; the never-say-die Joad family; or Captain Henry Morgan, the merciless pirate.
Join us Sunday, September 29, at 3:00 p.m. in the Upstairs Meeting Room of the Library – Free to the Public
